Policing Powers

Definition

A Constable has the power to -

(1) Enter any premises (other than a private dwelling house) where they have reasonable grounds to believe a vehicle to be located

(2) Remove the Vehicle

(3) Seize the vehicle either
(a) Immediately; or
(b) Within 24 hours - if the person has failed to stop

using reasonable force if necessary
