I am the above named person and reside at an address known to police shown overleaf.
I have been asked to provide a statement in relation to an incident of hare coursing that occurred on land under my control on the **(DATE)** at approximately **(TIME)**hrs. I am the person who currently owns/manages/controls **(AREA OF LAND)**, which I have done for the last **(NUMBER)** years/months. This consists of approximately **(NUMBER)** acres of arable land. I am the sole person who could give permission for anyone to be on my land. I can confirm that at no time did I give such permission for any persons to be on the land under my control, with any type of dogs, to hunt, search for, or pursue, any game including hares and rabbits. I can confirm that on the land I control there is an active brown hare population.
I would like to support police in their prosecution of any persons caught hare coursing on my land and to assist police I have produced a map of my farm boundaries. I produce this as exhibit **(EXHIBIT NUMBER)**, Map of Farmland controlled by me.
